Reliance Jio Users Free Data and Voice Service are not "Ending" On March 31st 

HYDERABAD: After a six-month free Data which ends on "March 31", Reliance Jio Infocomm Users may continue to enjoy data services at a Low rate, combined with free voice calls for another three                                                                                            months.



The Mukesh Ambani-owned operator is working out  on a new tariff plan which will be valid till "June 30", said people familiar with the developments in Jio as well as analysts. Unlike the earlier free offers that incumbent telcos have termed predatory, The Latest Plan offer will charge a fee of about Rs 100 for Data,On the Other Hand voice Calls will be free. "We have to start making revenue," one of the persons mentioned above said. Jio didn't respond to email queries sent by ET.



      The company's free voice calls and data offers have attracted over 76 million User's in 4 months after its commercial services were launched on September 5 last year. India's top Telecom Companies, Bharti AirtelIdea Cellular and Vodafone India, have been forced to Smash data and voice rates - even offering voice for free under some plans - to overcome the aggressive pricing offered by Jio. The newest Plan offers only for 4G services and has claimed its affordable services will trigger a mass assumptions of data as its production costs are a Selection of that of its competitors(Airtel,Idea,Vodafone etc).
